We collect information you provide directly (name, email, phone, city, preferences), information generated through your use of the Service (votes, points, redemptions), and technical information (IP address, browser type, device). For Cash Mode users, we may collect additional identity verification information as required by applicable regulations.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to: operate and improve the platform; personalize your experience; deliver points and rewards; facilitate contest participation; communicate with you about your account; generate aggregated analytics for merchants (non-personally identifiable); and comply with legal obligations.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with: participating merchants (limited to contest participation data, not personal details); service providers who assist platform operations; law enforcement when required by law; and in connection with a business transfer or merger.
4. Preference Data
Your voting preferences are used to build an anonymized preference profile for market research and AI-driven contest recommendations. This data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to you individually. Merchants receive aggregated trend data, not individual user votes.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and access controls. We use Microsoft Azure's enterprise security infrastructure.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting privacy@kivara.ai. We will respond within 30 days. Deletion of your account will result in forfeiture of accumulated points.

By using Kivara.ai, all merchants and consumers agree to the following content standards. Violations result in immediate account suspension with no refund.
Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited on the Kivara platform and will result in immediate account termination:
- Pornographic, sexually explicit, or adult content of any kind
- Religious solicitation, proselytizing, or faith-based discrimination
- Racist, discriminatory, or hate speech content
- Political content, campaign messaging, or partisan advocacy
- Content promoting violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
- Spam, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent offers
- Trademark infringement or unauthorized use of brand assets
- Content targeting or harmful to minors
Enforcement & No-Refund Policy
Kivara Technologies reserves the right to:
- Immediately suspend any merchant or user account found to be in violation of this policy
- Permanently remove all content associated with the violating account
- Forfeit all fees paid — contest entry fees, engagement fees, and subscription payments are non-refundable upon violation
- Report violations to relevant authorities where required by law
Image & Media Standards
All images, videos, and media uploaded to Kivara are subject to automated and manual review. Any media found to violate our content policy will be removed and the associated account suspended without refund. Merchants acknowledge that contest images must be appropriate for all audiences.
Appeals Process
Suspended accounts may submit an appeal within 30 days to legal@kivara.ai. Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days. Refunds are not issued during the appeals process and are only considered in cases of verified false-positive moderation.
